How to decorate your pop-up store with plants?
Our trusted partners to set up your pop-up store
In this spreadsheet, you will find all the direct contacts of the trusted service providers that Nestore works with on a regular basis: signage, decoration, planting, glazing, etc.
In the conception of the shop, plants and their virtues can bring life to your shop, provide decoration and also act as a partition between the different areas of your shop.
After explaining how to define a plant identity and deploy it at the point of sale, Nestore gives you its inspiration and tips for greening your shop (temporary or otherwise!) to suit your needs. It's up to you to learn from them 🌱
Using vegetation to expand your shop
Is my pop-up a corner? Maximise the space with plants!
The use of lush green vegetation allows you to create a "shop in shop". Delimiting the space with plants allows you to create an intimate area, without enclosing it or losing visibility. If you have a small sales area, consider using vertical furniture to structure the space (and make use of wasted surfaces such as the ceiling).
Is the space in my pop-up store small? Go for hanging plants!
If you're short of space in your pop-up store, put some plants up high. Without necessarily going as far as the plant ceiling, you could decorate your shop with hanging plants.
Delineate areas of your store with plants
More than just a place to sell, the shop is a place to live, an extension of your customers' flats. So use plants as dividers, and mark out a space where customers can take the time to relax, drink a coffee and enjoy the greenery!
Don't forget the wall vegetation
Don't forget your walls! While we often think of flowers and plants to decorate floors, wardrobes and the like, we rarely think of walls. But there are plenty of tricks you can use to hang dried flowers, fresh flowers or succulents on your walls. Take Herbarium, for example, with its herbariums.
Surprising, amusing and astonishing my customers with vegetation
Garlands of flowers (dried, fresh or paper) in my shop
Make a lasting impression with a window or hallway decorated with garlands of dried flowers, seashells or other materials. And if you don't have dried or fresh flowers to hand, swap them for homemade origami paper. An original way to create an immersive bubble in your shop or window display.
A trolley of flowers at the entrance to my shop
Go out and meet your customers with a flower trolley at the entrance to your shop. The trolley is also a good way of showcasing products.
How can I communicate my authenticity and naturalness without plants?
Think about dressing your floors and walls
There's a solution for everything. If you want to communicate naturalness without plants, just use your imagination. Identify the colours you want to use to communicate naturalness (green tones for plants, or coloured tones for flowers). Then select a wallpaper that echoes these tones, or simply a can of paint. And don't forget the floor: why not furnish your pop-up with a carpet that reflects the colour of the grass?
Your furniture can play a part too!
The objects you select can also convey an impression of nature. Choose rustic wooden furniture, such as pallets or crates, to decorate your space. Many companies also offer vintage furniture, which can convey the authenticity of your brand.
Why not consider a partnership to green your space?
As a final option, why not create a pop-up concept with a florist or a brand specialising in plants? You'd both benefit from your communities, twice the brand awareness, an
